North Carolina

Sunrise over North Carolina shore
We are still making our way down the NC coast. We've been going about 40-50miles a day & yesterday we figured out that we're just about 1/2 way (from our start in Connecticut) to the Bahamas!! :)  Scott said today that North Carolina has been his favorite coastline so far & I have to agree. It's so calm & really beautiful. The people have been so nice & full of southern hospitality. We've even seen dolphins the past couple days! Today we went through the biggest boat traffic jam I've ever seen. We're just cruising along & all of a sudden, smack dab in the middle of the channel, about a hundred little fishing boats. I was a little scared we might clip a few of them! They definetly made zero effort to get out of the way. Luckily, no collisions & after that, smooth sailing.
The whole town has "Gone Fishin' "
Love & Miss everyone alot !! Im glad to hear it's finally cooling down for all our friends & family in Phoenix.
Irene left her mark here too. This forest on the coastline had hundreds of snapped off  trees
Didn't think we'd see lime green houses w/pink doors until the Caribbean!
